Young Tower Theatre Works
Is your son/daughter 16 – 21 and curious about working in the theatre industry?
Young Tower Theatre Works (an SNS partner) is the Tower Theatre’s new Theatre Making course introducing young people to every aspect of putting together a stage production. Over 12 weekly sessions your course lead, alongside Tower Theatre experts, will introduce you to directing and performing, as well as other production skills like stage management and set/sound/light design. You will also explore props, costume and hair/make-up, working together to create a unique showcase event to take place on the Tower Theatre stage itself.
£180 to be paid prior to course start (or £90 on booking and £90 prior to course start date)
£30 bursary places for no or low wages (includes current and former Free School Meal students and Looked After Children) – There are still three bursary places available. If £30 is unaffordable for your son/daughter, please contact me and we will have a look at covering your costs.

Portfolio preparation for creative subjects
We are also going to be offering portfolio preparation sessions from the end of November up until the winter break. I thought the art or design department might be interested. We are offering two options this year:
Portfolio presentations: We will be running 1hour long portfolio preparation presentations for student groups interested in university degrees in architecture, fine art, design, fashion, graphic design and other creative courses. These will be taking place in both our Hackney and Camden spaces from the end of November. If you would like to organise a time to bring a group of students down please send over a few dates and times that would work for you and we can put one in the diary.
We have a limited number of slots for these presentations so please send us some dates as soon as possible if you are interested.
Portfolio preparation workshops: These 1:1 mentoring workshops are for students in yr 12-13 who are considering applications to creative undergraduate degrees including architecture, fashion, fine art and design courses. We will be running these on:
Wednesday 29th November 5-7.30pm
Wednesday 6th December 5-7.30pm
Wednesday 13th December 5-7.30pm
If you have any students who would like to reserve a place they do so by emailing us at email@example.com with their name, age, school and which day they can attend.
