Headteacher's letter to parents and carers
Covid-19 protocols, key dates, and Black History Month
Thursday 30 September
Dear Parent/Carer,
I start this week’s letter with a huge thanks to our Friends of SNS for organising such a lovely event for our new Year 7 Parents/Carers Barbecue on Saturday. Thank you to all parents who attended, it was wonderful to meet so many of you and special thanks to our brilliant student performers who wowed us with their performances. I hope this was a worthwhile opportunity to make connections with fellow parents as you and your child start the secondary school journey.
Covid-19 Protocols
Students should continue home testing twice a week, Wednesday and Sunday mornings. If you require a test kit, these can be collected from Reception. In addition to this, if your child is presenting Covid-19 symptoms, please do not send them into school and book a PCR test as soon as possible via this link: https://www.gov.uk/get-coronavirus-test
Work is set for self-isolating students on Microsoft Teams. If you have any issues accessing work, please contact Mr Mark Bynoe, Deputy Headteacher on mar.byn@sns.hackney.sch.uk

‘Diversity is being invited to the party, inclusion is being asked to dance’
Wishing you a restful weekend.
With best wishes
