A-level Results Day 2022!
Almost 40% of A-level students at Stoke Newington School achieve either an A* or an A this year.
Huge congratulations to all of our students on their A-level and BTEC results at Stoke Newington School. We are pleased to share that 37% of A-level students at Stoke Newington School received either an A* or an A this year, 68% received A*, A, or B grades with 85% of students achieved top grades – A*, A, B or C – in their exams. Overall, our comprehensive and inclusive intake have achieved a 99% (A*-E) pass rate.
Students achieved A and A* grades in a range of subjects including Art, Biology, Chemistry, Computing, Economics, English Literature, Film Studies, Further Maths, Geography, History, Mathematics, Music, Physical Education, Photography, Physics, Politics, Psychology, Sociology, Textiles and Extended Project Qualification.
This year, 84% of those who applied to study at university have already been accepted into the university of their first or second choice. Students have secured places at 44 universities including the University of Manchester, the University of Liverpool, Cardiff University, the University of St Andrew’s, and the University of Leeds. 100% of students offered places at Oxbridge have accepted. Our creative subjects continue to thrive as well, with students securing places at prestigious art schools.
Students will be studying a diverse suite of courses including Art, Business, Drama, Engineering, Film Making, History, Medicine, Physics, Photography and Sport & Exercise Science. We are also pleased students have secured places on high-quality apprenticeships.
We are delighted that the passion and superb subject knowledge of our teachers has enthused and inspired our students to achieve such fine results. We wish our students all the very best for the future as they move forward to their next exciting chapter.

They have shown an incredible commitment to their academic studies despite the challenges of the past couple of years.
