Wow, our students continue to surprise us every day! Today we marked Pi Day with a fantastic celebration of memory and mathematical magic! Our students took part in a friendly competition to see who could memorise the most digits of Pi - and the results were incredible.

An enormous well done to our Pi Day champion who recited an astonishing 345 digits of Pi from memory! She beat her previous record of 268 from last year!

A huge well done to all the students who took part — whether they remembered 10 digits or 300, their enthusiasm made the day truly special. And of course, a big thank you to our maths teachers who organised the event. And an even bigger thank you to our Sixth Form students who helped record younger students' efforts from Year 7, 8 and 9. It's always great to see!

Here’s to celebrating learning, challenge, and the endless wonder of numbers.
Happy Pi Day, and have a great weekend!

Oh, and we hope students enjoyed their pies as a reward for taking part! ?✨
