Dear Parent/Carer,

HT’s Communication – Week 7

I do hope your half term holiday offered opportunities to rest and recharge. Yesterday’s sun was so welcomed and certainly helped lift our spirits. It is wonderful to see the first signs of spring!

This evening we will learn from the government their plans for reopening of schools. It will be fantastic to have our students and staff back on site, but as always safety is of paramount importance. We will continue to adhere to the protocols and guidance from public health to ensure we keep our community safe. As soon as we are able, we will communicate the plans for student return with you.

This last year has been extraordinarily difficult for everyone, but I am very proud of how our community has responded. I want to note how incredibly resilient, understanding, and adaptable our young people have been throughout this time. They have had to make sacrifices to reduce virus transmission and I want to commend each and everyone of them for the fortitude they have exhibited. It is important that whilst we are mindful of the losses, we must also recognise the qualities that the students have developed and demonstrated over this period.

Year 13 Students’ Finance Parent Forum

There will be a short online information evening on student finance for those parents with children in year 13 who have applied for university.

Parent Forums

Please note that there will be no Year 11 or Year 13 forum week beginning 1^st March due to the joint forum as above.
