Jack Petchey Award Ceremony
Congratulations to our students for their fantastic achievements
Congratulations to our SNS students for their achievements at The Jack Petchey Foundation Achievement Award Ceremony, held at Hackney Town Hall on Monday 29th September 2025.
It was a brilliant evening, focused on rewarding our amazing students who have contributed so much to their community over the last year. The awards celebrate personal triumphs, such as overcoming challenges, contributing to the community, and personal or academic success. Winners receive a certificate and a £300 grant to benefit their school.
Our students have used their £300 each, funding towards:
- Purchasing musical equipment - microphones, USB MIDI pad controller and drum machine to further support the learning of the school’s disadvantage pupils with their NCFE Level 2 course.
- Supporting the disadvantaged students on their Year 11 History trip, to the battlefields, and sites in and around Ypres, in Belgium.
- The furniture items to support the learning of our most vulnerable students in the inclusion department.
- Purchasing two tablets to support in technology lunch and after school club.
- The SNS Orchestra and Choir's trip to Edinburgh in July 2025.
- Purchasing History books for the History Club.
- Providing a speaker for KS5 History students.
- Hiring DJ for the Year 11 prom.
