Peter Pan - a tech team performance
An amazing show, entirely student led!
Our theatre was transformed into Neverland last week as students staged a fantastic, fully student-led production of Peter Pan that wowed a sold-out audience of parents, friends and staff.
This production was initiated and driven by the student tech team, who took the lead from the very beginning. From lighting and sound design to set changes and special effects, students were behind every decision that brought the magic of the story to life. The tech team comprises of students across all year groups, but is led predominantly by sixth formers, who then pass on their knowledge, with the help of Mr Finn (music technician) and Mr Bunce (drama technician) to the younger students.
On stage, students delivered incredible performances, showcasing confidence, creativity and commitment throughout the show. From the first flight over London to the final moments in Neverland, the audience was treated to a joyful performance that earned enthusiastic applause.
One parent shared their excitement after the show, saying:
“I was so impressed by the talent and teamwork on display. It was wonderful to see the students take such ownership of the production. You could tell how proud they were of what they’d created.”
Staff members were equally proud of the students’ achievements:
“This production was a brilliant example of what students can achieve when they lead with passion and creativity. The tech team and performers worked incredibly hard, and the result was so much fun.”
With laughter, applause and smiles all around, we can't wait until next year's performance!
