Dear Year 8 parents and carers,

In September 2025, Year 9 students start their new GCSE courses which they will see through until their public exams at the end of year 11. At Stoke Newington School and Sixth Form, we offer a wide range of courses, both academic and vocational, ensuring that students can build on the breadth of our curriculum offer at Key Stage 3.

This is an extremely important stage in school life, and the Options Evening will provide an opportunity to learn more about the process, including time to speak with subject representatives and attend an information session with the Deputy Headteacher.

We would encourage all parents and carers to attend the event, and particularly those who have children making subject choices for the first time.
