I have lived in the local area for over twenty years. I was previously director of finance at a community bank, non-executive director of a local housing non-profit and parent governor at Newington Green Primary School. I am currently trustee and treasurer of a charity funding research into improved treatments and a cure for children’s cancer.

I have a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Bristol and an MBA from the University of Navarra, IESE Business School in Barcelona. I am also qualified as a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England & Wales and a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria, Australia. I have over twenty years' experience in governance, strategic planning, law, finance and accounting, working in the UK, Australia, Spain, the USA and India.
