KS3

Year 8 Graphics - 1.5 hours. Upcycling project. This was introduced last lesson and students will be using waste card, plastic and metal to make new products.

Year 8 Textiles - African Print collage! Create collage designs for your African print designs, using scrap paper or any other bits of paper you can find!

Year 8 Architecture - Students to use modelling materials they’ve been asked to collect around at home to begin making models based around they’re building elevations (they do not need to finish the models as they will be continuing to work on them in following lessons) – 1 hour, 40 mins.

Year 8 Robotics – disability robots, collect modelling materials from any recycled material you can find around the house. Use you designs of you robot that (helps people with disabilities to carry out day-to-day tasks) and create a small model prototype of the robot you designed. -1 hour 40min.

KS4

Year 10 Textiles - 2 hours. Photography research for new brief.

Year 10 L1/NCFE Graphics - students are to draw in the style of the artists they have been previously been researching; Jan Piekowski, Quentin Blake, Chip Kidd, Lesley Barnes. Produce at least 3 drawings based on work from 2 of the artists listed – spend approximately 30 mins per drawing.

Year 10 RM: Using scrap materials found at home, upcycle a product. Take pictures, write about your invention on a sheet of paper. If possible, make it a working prototype and save the images for your next lesson. 1 hour.

KS5

Year 13 Graphics: students must ensure their sketchbooks are annotated up to date. They must continue working on typography sketches including developing ideas prior to CAD development – 50 mins.
