Students should select at least one of our suggested activities for their PE lesson, most of which involve students exercising outside. Pupils can either...

Outside

Inside

Walk or jog in the local park - if walking then aim for 30mins at a good pace. If jogging aim for 20mins at a steady pace. If going to Clissold Park, you can use the usual route that we use in PE lessons. One lap of that is 700m approximately Complete some skill based challenges such as bedroom basketball, agility run, juggling, speed bounce, or make up your own. 30-60mins
You could select one person from your bubble or household to exercise with and go out in the garden, local park or nearest play area. You could take a bat, ball or frisbee with you and invent a new game complete with scoring system. 30-60mins Make up your own circuit training session. Think of 10 exercises and do them for 30secs each with 30secs rest in between. Complete this as many times as you can in 20mins. Do some cool-down stretching for 10mins to finish
If you have a dog, take them out with you for a walk with you. 30-60mins Audio only workouts. The following link has a large variety of exercise workouts that do not have video and therefore no screen time https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSJCXbR__C7IztG4us-8Hjw/videos

If you are safe to do so, you could go for a bike ride - 30-60mins

Complete 10,000 steps throughout the day. This will take about 2hours

KS5

Year 12 For BTEC pupils should teach themselves how to juggle and relate this to their module on skill acquisition and how we learn. For A Level pupils should read the glossary at the back of the text book focussing on terms they are not confident on. Then answer the recap questions in chapter 1 using pen and paper.

Year 13 For A Level pupils should continue to produce their EAPI but do so using a pen and paper rather than typing on screen. They should then spend 30mins taking part in a small section of their action plan to check that it works well. For BTEC pupils should complete the next session of their 6 week training programme.
